Do we still need a separate backup despite using Microsoft 365?
Yes, absolutely. Microsoft protects the platform from hardware loss, not your mailbox from accidental deletion or ransomware. A third-party backup with 365-day retention is standard for us.
Can we continue using existing Office licences?
We check this in the audit. Existing licences are often sub-optimally configured; with small adjustments, 10–20% cost savings are frequently achievable without any loss of functionality.
