Virtual machines are backed up via the built-in backup system of Proxmox. Microsoft 365 data runs through Synology Active Backup for Microsoft 365.

What does a backup concept cost for a mid-sized business?
Setup runs as a project billed hourly by effort. Ongoing maintenance is part of the monthly cancellable contract. Synology Active Backup for Microsoft 365 is free software from Synology.
Can you run backups on our own NAS?
Yes, but we recommend at least one additional copy off-site. A NAS alone is not a backup concept. It is a single copy at a single location.
